Trinseo PLC is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our Technology department. This role is essential for developing new processes and improving existing ones, writing specifications, sizing equipment, and creating PFDs and P&IDs to support successful project execution across multiple teams.

You will lead process studies, participate in safety reviews (HAZOP), validate feasibility with R&D, train users on equipment, and contribute to investment projects from design to cost quotes.

Competenze

• Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in process engineering in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of process design, equipment sizing, and safety analysis.
• Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, and process descriptions.
• Experience with safety reviews (HAZOP) and relief device design.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Mansioni

• Develop new process technologies and improve existing processes.
• Write study specifications and perform material and utility balances.
• Size equipment and coordinate with R&D and suppliers.
• Create PFDs/P&IDs and operating manuals.
• Lead safety analyses and participate in HAZOP reviews.
