IMA Group is seeking a Progettista Software - PLC & Motion Control in Bologna to join its automation team. You will collaborate with hardware designers, program PLCs using Structured Text, and support commissioning, HMI, and documentation for automated machines across various sectors.

The role requires 3–5 years PLC programming experience, ST knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 10–20 days per year. A Master’s degree in Automation Engineering is preferred. English knowledge is a plus.

Competenze

• 3–5 years PLC programming experience.
• Knowledge of Structured Text and motion control skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and sites abroad as needed.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with hardware designers to define functional specifications for projects.
• Program PLCs for automated machines using structured text and motion control.
• Install and commission software on machines and support HMI programming when required.
• Prepare technical documentation to accompany design activities.
• Support pre-sales and post-sales activities as needed.
• Participate in FAT and/or SAT testing phases when required.
