Job summary

Quintall is seeking an accomplished Plant Director in Emilia-Romagna, Italy to own the plant's P&L and lead operations from the shop floor with a hands-on, people-first leadership style.

You will drive capability, safety, quality and continuous improvement while coordinating cross-functional teams to support expansion, new product introductions and sustainability targets across a major production site.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical, industrial, economic or related discipline.
• 10+ years of plant leadership or at least 7 years as a production manager in complex industrial manufacturing.
• Food service or product leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of food production processes and food safety standards.
• Experience in managing complex manufacturing operations in international matrix organizations.
• Proficient in ERP systems, operational reporting tools and Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Own full P&L and drive site operations from the front on the shop floor.
• Lead production by setting clear operational frameworks and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate end-to-end plant operations across Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Coach and develop large teams, resolving issues quickly and driving on-time performance.
• Ensure compliance with FSQM, IFS, HACCP, QA standards and audit readiness.
• Lead Kaizen, Lean and data-driven performance management to improve OEE and yield.
• Collaborate with R&D, Procurement, and HQ for site expansion and new product introductions.
• Plan CAPEX and industrialization efforts for future-proof growth.
