Saipem is seeking an Ocean Engineer to support metocean activities for offshore pipelines, subsea structures, and marine facilities. The role focuses on metocean data analysis, design criteria, and numerical modelling to support project needs in Italy and abroad.

The candidate should hold a Master’s degree in physics, civil or coastal engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience and be proficient in AutoCAD, GIS, Python, MATLAB, and hydrodynamic models. Travel may be required.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in physics, civil or coastal engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Strong knowledge of metocean design principles and numerical modelling.

Mansioni

• Meteo-marine design for offshore pipelines and subsea structures and offshore fixed facilities.
• Develop metocean design criteria according to project requirements and industry norms; perform data analysis.
• Model marine conditions and perform numerical modelling of wind, waves, and currents.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and support project phases across Italy and abroad.
