Job summary

CNH Industrial is seeking a test engineer to validate the performance of heavy construction equipment and ensure it operates as designed. You will work within the test engineering team to run procedures, analyze results, and report progress to managers.

You will configure hardware and instrumentation, contribute to test plans and reports, and collaborate with design engineering across powertrains, hydraulics, structures, and user interfaces to improve product reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience testing heavy construction equipment or agriculture.
• Ability to configure hardware and instrumentation.
• Experience logging test results in a database.
• Strong collaboration with design engineering.

Responsibilities

• Validate CNH heavy equipment performance and ensure proper operation.
• Work within the test engineering team to run procedures, analyze results, and report progress to managers.
• Configure hardware and instrumentation to complete tests.
• Collaborate with design engineering to refine systems across powertrains, hydraulics, structures, and user interfaces.
• Assist in developing test plans and procedures.
• Manage defect database and test-related tasks.
• Modify and create relevant test procedures and processes.
• Report weekly test results, progress, and issues; log problems in the database.
