Job summary

AGCO seeks a Project Engineer Platform to lead and coordinate engineering activities for the combine headers and trailers platform, acting as the technical interface between Engineering and cross-functional teams. You will ensure accurate, timely delivery of engineering data, EBOMs, CAD models, and change documentation to enable on-time program execution.

You will shape platform architecture, support NPI and cost optimization, and promote standardization across the engineering organization,

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years in product development, platform engineering, vehicle engineering, or project engineering.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering activities in complex environments.
• Proficiency in product development processes, O365, PLM (Windchill preferred), CAD (Creo Parametrics).
• Knowledge of engineering data management and systems integration.
• Experience in agricultural/automotive/off-highway/industrial equipment sectors; global/matrix organizations.
• Project management certification or equivalent experience.
• Cross-functional collaboration, clear communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities for the platform, ensuring timely delivery of data, EBOMs, CAD models, and change documentation.
• Represent Engineering in the platform core team and coordinate activities across multiple engineering modules.
• Own and manage platform engineering data, specifications, EBOM, CAD models, and ECNs with governance for release.
• Coordinate vehicle and system design activities and ensure cross-functional alignment of technical solutions.
• Ensure availability and integrity of global platform architecture documentation and support lead/follower project execution.
• Lead engineering status, risk, and deliverable communications at gates and milestones.
• Contribute to product design activities within AGCO standards, including ideation, CAD modeling and drawing release.
