Gardner Denver Srl in Parma is seeking a Cost Accountant to join the Controlling Department. You will support the Parma plant's financial management, including cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting in close collaboration with Operations and Finance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Economics/Finance or similar and 1–2 years in Controlling, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with SAP. Italian is required and English is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or similar.
• 1–2 years of experience in Controlling or Finance (internship ok).
• Knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
• Excel proficiency; SAP ERP and BI tools preferred.
• Fluency in Italian and good English.

Job Summary

The Cost Accountant (Financial Analyst I) will be part of the Controlling Department and will report directly to the Plant Controller. The role will support the financial management of the Parma plant, contributing to controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting activities. The position works in close collaboration with Operations and Finance to ensure accurate financial analysis and to support informed business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly closing activities, including cost analysis and variance reporting
• Standard costs maintenance and calculation
• Collaborate with Operations to analyze financial impacts and identify improvement opportunities
• Support internal control activities and ensure data accuracy and compliance
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within controlling and reporting processes
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or similar
• 1–2 years of experience in Controlling and Finance (also internship experience considered)
• Knowledge of accounting and financial principles
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP ERP systems and knowledge of BI tools is preferential requirement
• Fluency in Italian and good working knowledge of English
  
  

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

• Fully site-based role at the Parma plant (smart working allowed, following location’s rules)
• Limited and occasional travel may be required

Salary range

• €23.100 - €40.940
