A leading shipping company in Genoa, Italy, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to strengthen its sales team. The role involves conducting outside sales activities, building relationships with customers, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, advanced proficiency in English, and at least 5 years of experience in outside sales within the shipping industry. This full-time permanent position offers a dynamic work environment and growth opportunities.

Competenze

• Minimum of 5 years experience as outside sales in shipping agency and/or freight forwarder in Genoa & Milan.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
• Ability to multi-task without compromising accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for an Outside Sales Representative (M/F) to join our team on a permanent contract in Genoa, Italy.

Job Description

• Conduct outside sales activities within assigned territory to meet sales targets
• Consistently review and report on sales calls, sales outcomes and sales opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers as well as growing our customer base
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals

Qualifications required

• Advanced proficiency in English
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 5 years experience as outside sales in shipping agency and/or freight forwarder in Genoa & Milan, Italy.
• Excellent organization & communication skills; internal and external
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point)
• Ability to create and maintain strong relations with customers
• Team player with ability to multi‑task without compromising accuracy in a fast‑paced environment
