Job summary

OHB Italia is seeking an Opto-Mechanical AIT Engineer to drive integration and testing for the Flyeye Telescope, combining factory and on-site work. You will apply rigorous AIT practices to align optics and assemble mechanical systems, contributing to mission goals in space safety and hazard detection.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, aerospace engineering or physics.
At least 2 years of professional AIT experience.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Basic experience with 3D CAD tools.
Strong reporting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Participate in telescope integration and optical alignment.
Prepare AIT documentation including integration/test procedures and setup/run procedures.
Handle mechanical/optical assemblies, tools, and GSEs.
Participate in technical/review meetings and progress updates.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams during on-site commissioning.
