Job summary

Nokia seeks an Optical Test and Automation Engineer in Monza, Lombardy, to develop pluggable modules for Optical Networks and lead early-phase testing from design to production. You will document tests, report outcomes, and drive scalable, automated validation in a multinational, AI-driven telco context.

You will collaborate with Optical, FW, HW teams, own test routines, and ensure coverage across subsystems.

Qualifications

• MS in Electronic/Optical/Photonic/SW Engineering.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Willingness to travel across Europe and Far East Asia.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement automated tests for early bring-up and production phases.
• Collaborate with Optical, FW, HW engineers and manufacturers to ensure test coverage.
• Own technical documentation, test reporting and stakeholder communication across time zones.
• Maintain and evolve automated test routines for key subsystems of modules.
• Support design validation and production deployment with reliable test data.
