Lavazza Group is seeking an Open Innovation Packaging Specialist to join the Packaging Innovation Team in our Global R&D Department. The role bridges Lavazza's internal R&D with the external ecosystem to accelerate sustainable and premium packaging solutions, working with startups, universities and suppliers to align with brand identity and regulatory guidelines.

The role requires 3 years in Packaging Innovation or Open Innovation in FMCG, good English and Italian, and familiarity with AutoCAD

Competenze

• Master's degree in a technical/scientific field related to packaging or design.
• Experience in packaging innovation, R&D, or open innovation in FMCG contexts is preferred.
• Knowledge of materials, printing processes, and graphic design is a plus.

Mansioni

• Scout, evaluate and develop new materials, technologies and packaging solutions with external partners.
• Monitor external innovation ecosystem to identify breakthrough packaging materials and sustainable solutions.
• Lead and coordinate Open Innovation initiatives and collaborative research projects.
• Design, manage and execute Proof of Concept projects with internal Lab teams.
