Cummins Inc. in Cameri, Novara, Italy, is seeking a motivated Supplier Quality Engineer Intern for a 6-month, on-site internship.

The role offers hands-on experience in supplier quality management, incoming inspection, and cross-functional collaboration within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will develop skills in problem solving, data analysis, and collaboration with Quality, Production, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Purchasing teams, while supporting continuous improvement

Competenze

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, Quality, or related).
• Fluency in Italian (C1/C2) and good English, written and spoken.
• Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001/IATF 16949).
• Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, APQP is an asset.

Mansioni

• Support development and implementation of a risk-based Incoming Inspection Strategy.
• Assist in supplier quality management and containment activities for non-conforming materials.
• Support management of supplier corrective actions and monitoring their effectiveness.
• Analyze supplier quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering, and Purchasing.
