Cummins Europe invites applications for a Process Quality Engineer Intern position in Cameri (Novara), Italy. This six-month onsite internship develops skills in process quality management, LPA deployment, and cross-functional collaboration across production, maintenance, and quality teams.

You will monitor processes, support audits, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while gaining hands-on experience on the shop floor.

Competenze

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, Quality, or related field).
Fluency in Italian (C1/C2) and good communication skills in English.
Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949) and problem-solving methodologies.
Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency with strong data analysis skills.
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, proactive approach, and willingness to work on the shop floor.

Mansioni

Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with standards and identify improvement opportunities.
Support the deployment and standardization of the LPA system across the plant, with checklists and tracking.
Assist in audits and maintain process documentation aligned with operational practices.
Collaborate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance and Quality teams to promote process discipline.
Support continuous improvement projects focusing on quality performance and KPI monitoring.
