Job summary

Mondelēz International is seeking an experienced Automation & Digitalization Lead for the Capriata d'Orba plant in Italy. You will coordinate cross-functional project teams and drive strategic execution plans to advance automation and digitalization of production processes.

You will evaluate proposals, manage budgets, and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to deliver technology-driven improvements. Fluent Italian and English are required, with 100% on-site presence.

Qualifications

In-depth PLC/SCADA experience in industrial settings.
Strong knowledge of network infra, fieldbus, OPC UA and IT/OT segmentation.
Familiarity with vision systems, sensors and thermal cameras.
Experience with data monitoring/visualization platforms (Grafana).
Knowledge of AGVs/AMRs/COBOTs and related integration.
Ability to read electrical schematics and manage projects, budgets and vendors.
Fluent Italian and English; valid driver’s license; on‑site presence required.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead local automation and digitalization initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project execution within budget and timelines.
Evaluate technical proposals from integrators and OEMs for value and compliance.
Monitor progress through all development phases and optimize processes.
Share knowledge and drive continuous improvement across plants.
