Job summary

Nestlé Purina Italy in Mantova is seeking a Project Engineer – Automation Systems to lead the design, start-up and operation of automated production systems for a greenfield site. The role emphasizes capital investment project leadership, cross‑functional teamwork and compliance with Nestlé standards and local regulations.

The position offers a permanent, full‑time contract with relocation support for candidates joining from outside Mantova.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a leader/senior engineer in capital investment project development and implementation in the food industry.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a project or manufacturing environment.
• English proficiency mandatory; Italian language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and start-up capital investment projects within the AGV scope.
• Prepare URS, project controls, schedules and cost estimates for AGV scope.
• Coordinate suppliers and contractors for installation, controls and testing.
• Maintain safety, quality and regulatory compliance throughout the project life.
