Job summary
Nestlé Purina Italy is seeking a Logistics Lead Engineer for a greenfield Mantova project. You will lead the installation, start-up and operation of highly automated logistics systems as part of a major manufacturing investment.
The role requires leadership across civil, mechanical, electrical, automation and digital systems, with a focus on safe and reliable production and seamless handover to operations. English fluency is essential and relocation support is provided.
Qualifications
- University degree in Engineering disciplines (Logistics, Automation, Mechanical, Processes, Industrial engineering or similar).
- In-depth knowledge of logistics, automation engineering and digital logistics operations.
- Fluency in English is required; good level of Italian would be a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the engineering, implementation, commissioning, operational readiness, ramp-up and handover of a highly automated logistics project.
- Ensure integration of facility, manufacturing ops, utilities, infrastructure, digital systems and material flows for safe, reliable production.
- Coordinate internal and external teams, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders across the project lifecycle.
