Job summary

RINA is seeking an R&D Site Engineer and Equipment Engineer to join the Electronics and System Engineering Division in La Spezia. The role involves on-site engineering activities, design support, technical documentation, and coordination with project teams to ensure quality and safety compliance.

The candidate will work at customer sites, handle technical calculations, drawings interpretation, and use design software, with a Master’s degree in Engineering and a willingness to travel to field

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (General or Electronics).
• Experience in engineering activities, preferably in technical or R&D environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and drawings.
• Willingness to perform on-site and field activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design activities and technical calculations in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Prepare and manage technical specifications, reports and project documentation.
• Review and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
• Use engineering and design software to support project activities.
• Provide engineering support during on-site activities, including field data collection.
• Collaborate with project teams and relevant stakeholders during the different phases of the project.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality and safety procedures during site activities.
