UNICC seeks an Application Support Technician to maintain and support applications in the DSM portfolio, based in Brindisi, Italy, on-site. You will work under the DSM Team Lead and collaborate with DSM colleagues to ensure reliable operation and timely issue resolution.

The role requires 3–5 years in application maintenance and IT support, strong Windows/Linux/DB skills, and excellent English. On-call rotations and 24x7 standby may be required.

Competenze

• Three to five years of experience in application maintenance and general IT support.
• Experience in Windows/Linux client/server environments.
• Database management experience.
• Very good English (written and verbal).
• High school diploma.

Mansioni

• Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of applications and tools for UNICC and partners.
• Perform database administration tasks of MSSQL and open source databases.
• Resolve Tier-2 application issues and escalate Tier-3 issues as needed.
• Assist in evaluation, configuration and installation of new releases per standards.
• Assist in deployments and processes to support operations.
• Respond to application-related queries from end users in remote locations.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to Tier-1 and deliver end-user training on application functionality.
• Develop and update software-related documentation and reports; participate in meetings.
• Provide standby and on-call 24x7 support and work in shifts when requested.
• Provide ad hoc support within team or other teams; participate in special projects.
