DHL Supply Chain in Lombardy is seeking an OMS Engineer (Continuous Improvement Engineer) to lead the detailed operational deployment of the SmartReM digital suite, including performance tracking, resource planning and data analytics across sites.

The role requires 3+ years in continuous improvement within manufacturing or supply chain, strong Excel and Power BI skills, English proficiency, and the ability to map processes and define KPIs with site teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Economics or Master in Supply Chain.
• At least 3 years of experience in continuous improvement in Manufacturing/Supply Chain.
• Experience in Performance Management and productivity improvements.
• Strong data analysis and diagnostic tool knowledge.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Excellent Excel and Power BI skills.
• Ability to analyze processes and solve problems.

• Ensure operational and performance tracking tools for deployment of SmartProductivity are in place or planned.
• Deliver consistent implementations across sites to ensure SmartProductivity is in place.
• Collaborate with IT to establish integration/extract from source systems (WMS/TA).
• Review operations setup to design site-specific SmartProductivity solutions.
• Analyze data to highlight data gaps or formatting issues in source systems.
• Define and map processes in preparation for applying standards.
• Collaborate with site management and CI teams to review and define new KPIs.
• Coach site management and CI teams to analyze data and drive continuous improvement.

Our OMS Engineer (Continuous Improvement Engineer) do just that. This role is responsible for the detailed operational implementation of key elements of the SmartReM digital suite, like the performance tracking solution, key elements of resource planning and data analytics.

In this OMS Engineer (Continuous Improvement Engineer) role:

• Ensuring all operational and performance tracking and management tools aspects for a successful deployment of “smartProductivity” are in place or planned;
• Deliver consistent implementations across each assigned site to ensure each site has “smartProductvity” in place;
• Collaborate with IT to establish the integration/extract from source systems (i.e. WMS/T&A systems.);
• Review operations set up of each assigned operations to design the customized/ site specific solution for “smartProductivity”;
• Complete an analysis of the data to highlight and detail areas where source systems are not providing data in the correct format or detail;
• Define, analyze and then map all effective processes in detail in preparation for application of standards;
• Collaborate with site mgt team and other local functional expertes to review and define new KPI;
• Coach local site mgt team and local CI teams how to analyse data out of smartProductivity to prepare and conduct performance reviews and support continuous improvement opportunities;
  

Now, here’s what we need from you:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Economics or Master in Supply Chain;
• At least 3 years of experience in continuous improvement's team in Manufacturing/Supply Chain Industry;
• Experience in Performance Management, productivity and Industrial Engineering highly desirable;
• Good knowledge of the main diagnostic tools, data analysis and performance measurement;
• Good knowledge of the English;
• Ability to analyze processes and solve problems;
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Power BI;
  

Salary Package: € 35.000 - €45.000
