McKinsey & Company is seeking a driven professional to join its European Operations Practice. You will help solve complex client issues, develop lean manufacturing strategies, and deliver end-to-end solutions across Europe.

You will work with teams across Europe, contribute to strategy development, and gain extensive training and mentorship to accelerate your leadership growth within the firm.

Competenze

• Master’s degree with exceptional academics.
• Broad experience in Lean Manufacturing (Toyota Production System, kaizen, TPM, JIT, SMED).
• Proven leadership in work or extracurricular activities.
• Willingness to relocate/undertake European assignments.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English and local language communication.

Your Impact

You will play an active role in problem solving for clients including identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing, and conducting analyses, and synthesizing conclusions into recommendations.

You’ll work with colleagues and clients from a wide range of business areas across Europe to develop strategies that support clients’ business objectives and give them a competitive edge.

You will make an important contribution to the analysis, design, and implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Management approaches, developing tailor-made solutions and working closely with clients to ensure positive impact and sustainable results.

You will also gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to the firm. You will receive exceptional training, frequent coaching, and mentoring from colleagues and senior leaders on your teams.

You will be based in one of our European offices as part of our Operations Practice.

The Operations Practice assists our clients in solving complex operational challenges. Blending strategic thinking with hands-on practicality, our teams of consultants and experts work to develop and implement operational strategies that solve our clients’ most critical problems.

McKinsey’s Manufacturing service line is part of our Operations Practice and helps leading companies in all industries develop and implement future-oriented lean manufacturing strategies. Our clients include leading companies worldwide from a wide range of industries. We offer their managements support and advice on strategic and operational questions relating to Lean Manufacturing.

Your application should be in English and include your CV and your transcripts (high school, university, etc.), indicating all relevant grades.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s degree and exceptional academics required
• Broad experience in Lean Manufacturing (e.g., the Toyota Production System, kaizen methods, TPM, JIT, SMED)
• Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
• Mobility and enthusiasm for taking on European assignments during the work week
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and local office language
