Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding Italy is seeking an OFR Import OPS/CS Team Leader to coordinate import operations from Bentivoglio (BO). The role reports to the BLQ Station Manager and requires strong leadership, English proficiency and a solid understanding of DGF services.

You will lead a team, ensure service levels, and drive process improvements while maintaining compliance and delivering high-quality customer service. A competitive package is offered with growth opportunities.

• Manage customer requirements, complex shipments and supply chain activities; address issues and escalations.
• Act as first point of contact for customers, suppliers and network-related issues; ensure timely resolution.
• Drive productivity and efficiency through analysis of performance indicators and process improvements.

DHL Global Forwarding Italy is looking for the following position:

OFR Import OPS/CS Team Leader

Location: Bentivoglio (BO)

Reports to: BLQ Station Manager

Key tasks

• - Coordinate and oversee OFR Import operations, ensuring service delivery for internal and external customers in line with customer requirements, operational excellence standards, regulatory compliance and business objectives.
• - Lead, coach and develop the team, fostering employee engagement, accountability, continuous improvement and achievement of operational, service and productivity KPIs.
• - Monitor day-to-day operations, allocate resources effectively, prioritize workloads and ensure compliance with agreed service levels, schedules and performance targets.
• - Ensure the effective management of customer requirements, complex shipments and supply chain activities, proactively addressing operational issues, customer escalations and service disruptions.
• - Act as the first point of escalation for customers, suppliers and network-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation when required.
• - Drive productivity, profitability and operational efficiency through the analysis of performance indicators and process optimization, customer portfolio profitability and implementation of corrective actions where necessary.
• - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, conduct regular customer reviews, promote customer retention and identify opportunities for business growth and service expansion.
• - Monitor customer feedback and service performance, promoting a customer-centric culture and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
• - Define, implement and maintain operational standards, procedures and best practices, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements and consistent execution of shipments and operational activities.
• - Conduct regular performance reviews and team discussions to identify improvement opportunities, support professional development and foster a collaborative, safe and high-performing working environment (performance dialogs, gemba walk, safe and motivating atmosphere).
• - Collaborate with internal functions, department and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operational execution, supplier performance management and achievement of business objectives.

Requirements

• - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
• - Excellent knowledge of DGF Organization, OFR Product and DGF services
• - Excellent analytical skills
• - Good management skills (team engagement, processes, leadership, workflows, business strategy, influencing, Feedback, Presentation, Facilitation, Negotiation)
• - Good knowledge of English

Compensation

45,000-65,000 RAL Indicativa (based on experience)
