Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding Italy is seeking an experienced OFR Import OPS/CS Team Leader based in Bentivoglio (BO). You will coordinate import operations, lead the team, ensure service delivery, and drive continuous improvement across KPIs.

Reporting to the BLQ Station Manager, you will manage resources, ensure compliance, and build strong customer relationships while promoting efficiency and growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent knowledge of DGF Organization, OFR Product and DGF services.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proven management and people leadership experience.
• Good knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee OFR Import operations, ensuring service delivery for internal and external customers in line with customer requirements, operational excellence standards, regulatory compliance and business objectives.
• Lead, coach and develop the team, fostering employee engagement, accountability, continuous improvement and achievement of operational, service and productivity KPIs.
• Monitor day-to-day operations, allocate resources effectively, prioritize workloads and ensure compliance with agreed service levels, schedules and performance targets.
• Ensure the effective management of customer requirements, complex shipments and supply chain activities, proactively addressing operational issues, customer escalations and service disruptions.
• Act as the first point of escalation for customers, suppliers and network-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation when required.
• Drive productivity, profitability and operational efficiency through the analysis of performance indicators and process optimization, customer portfolio profitability and implementation of corrective actions where necessary.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, conduct regular customer reviews, promote customer retention and identify opportunities for business growth and service expansion.
• Monitor customer feedback and service performance, promoting a customer-centric culture and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
• Define, implement and maintain operational standards, procedures and best practices, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements and consistent execution of shipments and operational activities.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and team discussions to identify improvement opportunities, support professional development and foster a collaborative, safe and high-performing working environment (performance dialogs, gemba walk, safe and motivating atmosphere).
• Collaborate with internal functions, department and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operational execution

OFR Import OPS/CS Team Leader

Compensation:

45,000-65,000 RAL Indicativa (based on experience)
