Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding Italy is seeking an OFR Import OPS/CS Team Leader in Bentivoglio (BO) to coordinate import operations, ensure service delivery and compliance, and lead a dedicated team to meet KPIs.

You will oversee day-to-day activities, optimize resources, manage customer requirements and escalations, and drive continuous improvement across processes with a strong focus on service quality and collaboration with internal functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of DGF Organization, OFR Product and DGF services.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Good management skills (team engagement, processes, leadership, workflows, business strategy, influencing, Feedback, Presentation, Facilitation, Negotiation).
• Good knowledge of English.

DHL Global Forwarding Italy is looking for the following position:

OFR Import OPS/CS Team Leader

Location: Bentivoglio (BO)

Reports to: BLQ Station Manager

Key tasks:

• Coordinate and oversee OFR Import operations, ensuring service delivery for internal and external customers in line with customer requirements, operational excellence standards, regulatory compliance and business objectives.
• Lead, coach and develop the team, fostering employee engagement, accountability, continuous improvement and achievement of operational, service and productivity KPIs.
• Monitor day-to-day operations, allocate resources effectively, prioritize workloads and ensure compliance with agreed service levels, schedules and performance targets.
• Ensure the effective management of customer requirements, complex shipments and supply chain activities, proactively addressing operational issues, customer escalations and service disruptions.
• Act as the first point of escalation for customers, suppliers and network-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation when required.
• Drive productivity, profitability and operational efficiency through the analysis of performance indicators and process optimization, customer portfolio profitability and implementation of corrective actions where necessary.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, conduct regular customer reviews, promote customer retention and identify opportunities for business growth and service expansion.
• Monitor customer feedback and service performance, promoting a customer-centric culture and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
• Define, implement and maintain operational standards, procedures and best practices, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements and consistent execution of shipments and operational activities.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and team discussions to identify improvement opportunities, support professional development and foster a collaborative, safe and high-performing working environment (performance dialogs, gemba walk, safe and motivating atmosphere).
• Collaborate with internal functions, department and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operational execution, supplier performance management and achievement of business objectives.

Requirements:

Compensation:

45,000-65,000 RAL Indicativa (based on experience)
