Saipem is seeking an Asset Equipment Production Engineer to lead pipe lay equipment (PLE) development and integration for offshore projects. You will interface with suppliers, define equipment requirements, and evaluate bids to ensure timely delivery while supporting PLE strategy and investments.

The role requires 6–8 years in asset equipment, a Master’s degree in engineering, and strong English (B2). Offshore travel may be required as part of project needs and deployments.

Competenze

• It’s required to hold a Master’s degree in mechanical/electrical/electronic/mechatronic/automation engineering.
• 6–8 years of experience as an Asset Equipment Engineer or similar, not necessarily oil & gas.
• Very good knowledge of English (B2) in reading, writing and speaking.
• Interdisciplinary knowledge across mechanical/electrical/electronic equipment development and integration.

Mansioni

• Technical leadership of some families of Pipe Lay Equipment (PLE).
• Define the requirements of the PLE equipment in the technical supply specifications aligned with the scope of work.
• Prepare technical bid evaluation for the selection of the PLE equipment.
• PLE supplier interface from both technical and management perspectives.
• Management/allocation of some families of PLE.
• Understand project needs for assigned PLE and provide equipment on time.
• Participate in PLE strategy upgrade and investment allocation.
• Technical supervision of PLE integration with correlated machines.
• Participate actively in the Final Acceptance test of the PLE.
