Job summary

Mediobanca, a leading Italian investment bank, seeks an ambitious intern for its Debt Capital Markets & Financing team in Milan. You will gain hands-on experience in origination, structuring fixed-income instruments, and evaluating financing solutions.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in progress or completed, fluency in English and Italian, and strong accounting and cash flow analysis skills. The internship runs for six months with a monthly gross allowance of €1,200.

We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join our Debt Capital Markets & Financing team at our Milan headquarter. This unique opportunity will allow the selected candidate to gain hands‑on experience in both the origination and structuring of fixed‑income instruments for corporate clients, as well as the assessment, structuring, and implementation of debt financing products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the origination and structuring of fixed‑income instruments (both loans and bonds) for corporate clients.
• Support the assessment of profitability and returns for proposed financing solutions.
• Contribute to the preparation of pitches and marketing materials for existing and potential clients.
• Assist in the preparation of internal memos for credit committee and senior management approval.
• Monitor prevailing financing conditions in the market and support portfolio monitoring activities.
• Support the developing of financial models to assess proposed financing structures.

Requirements Description:
