Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking a Product Manager and Product Introduction Manager for Instrument Transformers. You will lead the introduction of new and transferred products from development through industrialization and market deployment, coordinating across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality and service to ensure readiness and success.

You will act as the focal point for New Product Introduction activities, driving cross-functional alignment, managing risks, and ensuring

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, product implementation, industrialization, or new product introduction environments.
• Experience in power industry and high-voltage products is preferred; GIS knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycles, manufacturing processes, and introduction methodologies.
• Experience in international, cross-functional organizations with PM methodologies (Waterfall/Agile).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Lead end-to-end product introduction and implementation projects from initiation through industrialization and market launch.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria with stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, resources, budgets, and roadmaps.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, production, quality, logistics, and service teams for readiness.
• Drive transfer of products into manufacturing while ensuring quality, safety, and business compliance.
• Monitor prototypes, pilot production, and zero-series activities to validate readiness.
• Track production and testing, identify optimization opportunities, and drive improvements.
• Identify risks, define mitigations, and communicate with stakeholders and management.
• Support product lifecycle management and contribute to long-term competitiveness of Instrument Transformers.
• Collaborate with global teams to align priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Foster a culture of operational excellence and customer focus.
