Kyndryl Italia Innovation Services is seeking a Network Specialist to design, implement and manage multi-vendor networking platforms across hybrid cloud environments. You will monitor performance, ensure security and availability, and collaborate with delivery, engineering and consulting teams.

The Role

Ready to embark on a new adventure? At Kyndryl Italia Innovation Services, you'll join a high‑performing infrastructure and cloud platform team, contributing to the design, implementation, and evolution of networking technologies based on several vendors.

As Network Specialist, you'll be working in a complex, multi‑vendor environment, and will use your analytical skills to identify and resolve network issues, make configuration changes, and implement security policies. This role requires someone who can think on their feet, test and apply corrective actions (including emergency changes), and participate in change reviews as needed. And with the ever‑changing nature of technology, you'll be constantly learning and growing in your role. You will work alongside a talented team of experts to plan and execute routine network changes, troubleshoot and solve network issues and outages, and maintain excellent communication with our end customers, project managers, and service engineers. You’ll be responsible for maintaining network components, monitoring network performance, and maintaining network security. You will also be providing user support for network‑related issues, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of support possible. You will act as a key interface across Delivery, Engineering and Consulting teams, ensuring platform stability while enabling innovation and business growth.

Who You Are, Required Profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in network/network security & enterprise environments
• Proven network specialist experience in managing production environments
• Experience in complex enterprise environments
• Ability to work with autonomy and ownership
• Hands‑on experience with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders

Examples of requested capabilities

• definition and implementation of configurations on networking devices
• review of device logs and configurations, in order to prevent potential malfunctions
• support for activities related to updating the software components of the devices
• analysis of vulnerabilities affecting the software installed on the devices, in order to identify appropriate mitigation actions
• execution of fine‑tuning activities to ensure optimal performance of the network infrastructure
• analysis of malfunctions and identification of corrective actions
• analysis of potential interventions for the evolution of the infrastructure
• support in updating documentation (e.g. network infrastructure “layout”)
• analysis of new features of the base software, definition of production usage modalities, and verification of their impact on existing services and infrastructures
• installation of new software updates and functional testing
• preparation of manuals, contribution to LLD documentation
• development and/or update of control and operational procedures
• analysis of performance data, growth trends, and support for planning network infrastructure capacity upgrades
• development of procedures and preparation of supporting documentation for Disaster Recovery scenarios

Technical Skills

• Network (Cisco, Juniper, HPE)
• DDI (Infoblox)
• Firewalls (Checkpoint, Cisco, PaloAlto)
• Load Balancers (F5)
• Familiarity with Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures
• Scripting (Bash, Python)
• Monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Splunk, CheckMK, Gigamon, Ixia, others)

Certifications

• Cisco CCNP – strongly preferred
• Juniper/HPe/PaloAlto/F5
• Cloud networking certifications (any hyperscaler)
