Kyndryl in Milano is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design and implement production cloud solutions with reliability, scalability, and security. You will guide secure, scalable deployments and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment.

You will apply security frameworks, mentor technical teams, and contribute to DevSecOps initiatives, CI/CD pipelines, and automation. Join us to help redefine cloud delivery for enterprise customers.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/IT or equivalent.
• 4+ years hands-on cloud design/implementation.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.
• Fluent Italian with good English.
• Experience leading technical teams.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud solutions for production workloads with high reliability, scalability, and security
• Support cloud assessments, current‑state analysis, application/infrastructure discovery and technical requirement clarification.
• Guide the implementation of secure, scalable and reliable cloud solutions across enterprise environments.
• Identify and apply security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO27001, CIS)
• Build and manage container architectures (i.e. Kubernetes, Openshift)
• Develop automation solutions with IaC
• Support DevSecOps implementation activities, including CI/CD pipelines, code repositories, automated controls, security checks and deployment automation

Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions.
• Strong knowledge of the core Cloud Services.
• Experience coaching/leading technical teams or technical workstreams in transformation, migration, modernization or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work effectively in customer‑facing delivery contexts.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Fluent Italian and good English communication skills.

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

• Certifications on one or more major cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Experience supporting pre‑sales, solutioning or technical proposal activities.
• Experience with Agile delivery, technical governance, design authority boards or architecture review processes.
• Experience in hybrid cloud or multi‑cloud environments.
• Experience collaborating within delivery teams, working closely with engineers and architects in hands‑on cloud delivery and customer‑facing projects.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent experience.

Preferred Knowledge

• Cloud Platforms + certifications (Azure or AWS or GCP)
• Virtualization and Hybrid Infrastructure (VmWare)
• Containers and Platform Services (Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift)
• Automation and DevOps
• Security, Resilience and Governance
