Job summary

Alfa Laval in Italy is seeking an experienced, leadership-driven NDE Manager based in Suisio. You will oversee non-destructive testing operations, ensure compliance with contract quality control plans, and lead internal and external NDT teams to guarantee smooth continuity during assembly phases.

The role requires at least 3 years in NDE management in Oil & Gas or pressure equipment, ISO 9712 and ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level 2 in VT/MT/PT/RT/UT, strong drawing and regulatory knowledge, and English

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in NDE management within Oil & Gas or pressure equipment.
• ISO 9712 and ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level 2 certifications in VT, MT, PT, RT, and UT are mandatory.
• Strong command of mechanical drawings and pressure equipment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate internal and external NDT personnel across shifts.
• Oversee NDT execution (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT) on fabrication and incoming materials.
• Collaborate on Quality Control Plans with QC Inspector and report outcomes.
• Interpret radiography and witness inspections with clients or inspectors.
• Manage NCRs, support production troubleshooting, and participate in audits.
• Ensure calibration and availability of NDE instruments and blocks.
