Alfa Laval is seeking an experienced NDE Manager for a position based in Suisio, Lombardy, Italy. You will supervise non-destructive testing activities, ensure compliance with contract QC plans, and lead both internal and external NDT teams to maintain seamless operations during fabrication and assembly phases.

The role requires at least 3 years in NDE management within Oil & Gas, ISO Level 2 certifications in VT/MT/PT/RT/UT, and strong knowledge of ASME BPV and EN ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in NDE management in Oil & Gas or pressure equipment.
• ISO 9712 and ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level 2 in VT, MT, PT, RT, UT is required; Level 3 is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings and pressure equipment codes (ASME BPV Code, UNI EN ISO).
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 frameworks; medical fitness for heights and confined spaces.
• Proven leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent technical English; proficient with MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Lead internal and external NDT personnel across shifts.
• Oversee NDT execution (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT) on fabrication and incoming materials.
• Review Quality Control Plans with the QC Inspector and report inspection outcomes for certification.
• Interpret radiography and coordinate witness inspections with clients or third-party inspectors.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and support production in troubleshooting.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of all NDE instruments and calibration blocks.
