Job summary

DNV in Italy seeks a Technical Manager to strengthen the technical capability and delivery quality of Industrial Services. You will act as the primary technical focal point for Italy, advise Operations and Project teams, and lead complex technical strategies across projects and bids.

You will collaborate with European colleagues, develop execution methodologies, ensure compliance with codes and standards, mentor inspectors, and drive capability building to support Oil & Gas, Renewables, and

Qualifications

Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
Significant experience in inspection, QA/QC, vendor surveillance or related TIC services.
Strong knowledge of international codes, standards and inspection practices.
Experience with technical proposal development and tender evaluation.
Ability to translate customer requirements into practical execution solutions.
Experience working across countries and multicultural teams is desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for Industrial Services activities in Italy.
Support project execution, complex proposals and inspection personnel competency.
Develop and review execution methodologies, assumptions and resource needs.
Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17020 and applicable standards.
Collaborate with Proposal Management, Operations, and SMEs to ensure technically sound proposals.
Share expertise across Europe and support cross-country delivery models.
