Keynes Institute, a Cambridge International School in Palermo, is seeking an English teacher with native-level proficiency and experience in Early Years and Primary education for a full-time position, with morning and afternoon commitments. The role combines independently led lessons with co-teaching alongside Italian teachers, across the Cambridge bilingual programme.

The successful candidate will work across the curriculum, helping children develop language and subject knowledge together,

Qualificações

• Native-level English proficiency.
• Experience teaching children in Early Years and Primary settings.
• Ability to teach through English across a range of subjects.
• Strong collaboration with Italian teachers to share planning and delivery.
• Confidence in leading a class independently.
• Empathy, creativity, reliability and strong organisational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities in English, both independently and through co-teaching.
• Work alongside Italian teachers across subjects, sharing planning, classroom delivery and observations of children's progress.
• Integrate English into practical, creative and interdisciplinary learning experiences.
• Adapt teaching to different ages, abilities and learning needs.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment where children feel supported and confident to participate.
• Take part in morning and afternoon educational activities as part of the school team.
