EFL Teacher Full-Time Position

Start Date: January 2027

Contract Duration: Until May/June 2027, with the possibility of renewal.

The English International School has been providing high-quality English language education for over 23 years. Our school is located in Modica, a UNESCO World Heritage town in southeastern Sicily, renowned for its stunning Baroque architecture, rich cultural heritage and proximity to some of the Mediterranean's most beautiful beaches.

We are currently seeking a qualified, enthusiastic and experienced full-time EFL teacher to join our team in January 2027.

As one of the leading and most established English language schools in the area, we have built a strong reputation for educational excellence and continue to grow and develop.

We teach students of all ages, from young learners aged 3 to teenagers and adults, across all proficiency levels, including Cambridge English exam preparation.

In addition to courses at our centre in Modica, we work closely with local state schools and private businesses, delivering English language programmes throughout the region.

Qualifications

• A specialist qualification in teaching young learners, such as the International House Certificate in Teaching Young Learners and Teenagers (IHCYLT) or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience preparing students for Cambridge English Qualifications.
• Experience teaching a range of age groups and proficiency levels.
• A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to contribute to school projects.

Salary and Benefits

€1,300 - €1,560 / month

Salary and Benefits

Monthly net salary ranging from Euro 1,300 to 1,560, depending on the number of weekly working hours (25-30 hours). Working hours may include teaching, staff meetings and other school-related duties.
