Job summary

Generative Bionics is seeking a Facility Manager to oversee the efficient operation, maintenance, and development of company facilities and infrastructure in Genova, Italy. The role requires a balanced approach between strategic coordination and hands-on execution to maintain high standards of functionality, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facility management, infrastructure management, or related field.
• Solid understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and space management.
• Experience in vendor management and project coordination.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and proactive manner.
• Good communication and stakeholder management.
• Good English language skills (written and spoken).
• Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
• Experience in dynamic or multi-site environments.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management and maintenance of company facilities, including offices, systems, and infrastructure
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise refurbishment, renovation, and space optimization projects
• Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring service quality and cost efficiency
• Monitor and control facility-related budgets and expenditures
• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Support the continuous improvement of workplace standards and operational processes
• Act as the main point of contact for all facility-related matters across the organization
