Siemens Mobility is seeking an Application Engineer – Motion Control to design, test, and optimize Motion Control software solutions for customers across Italy. You will support commissioning, diagnose issues, and collaborate with customers, partners, and sales teams to deliver high-performance automation solutions.

The role involves digital simulation, on-site commissioning, and ongoing professional growth within a hybrid (remote/office) setup in Turin.

Competenze

Master's degree in automation, mechatronics or a related field.
Experience with Motion Control technologies, PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
Knowledge of Structured Text (ST) and C; C# is a plus.
Availability to travel across Italy and abroad.
Proficiency in Italian and English, written and spoken.
Eligibility to work in Italy.

Mansioni

Design, develop, test, and validate Motion Control solutions based on customer needs.
Parameterization, digital simulation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting at customer sites.
Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training to customers and partners.
Translate customer needs into Motion Control architectures and specifications.
Collaborate with the sales force to propose technical solutions and support business development.
Provide after-sales technical support and share lessons learned for future applications.
Expand expertise across Motion Control areas such as Metal Forming, Packaging, Handling and Converting.
