Regal Rexnord is seeking an on-site Application Engineer II in Nova Milanese (Monza) to provide high-quality technical support for Kollmorgen products and solutions. You will assist customers and internal teams via phone, email, remote connections, and on-site visits, collaborating with Sales, Product Management and Engineering.

The role requires a degree in industrial automation or related fields and at least three years in application engineering or technical support in industrial automation.

• Degree or technical diploma in industrial automation, electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related field.
• Three+ years of relevant experience in application engineering, technical support, commissioning, or similar in industrial automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; customer-oriented approach.

Support will be delivered by telephone, e-mail, remote connection, and on site, as required.This role reports directly to the local Application Engineering Leader and collaborates closely with Sales, Product Management, Global Market Management, Compliance, Marketing Communications, Engineering, and other relevant functions.**Key Responsibilities**• Assist in managing requests related to the company’s products, sales, and services, providing customers with the required technical support.• Analyze technical issues in installed applications, identify and verify appropriate solutions, and implement corrective actions when required.• Collaborate with the Sales team, Engineering, and Product Management to obtain accurate information on application requirements, system operation, and product management.• Prepare relevant records, data, and documentation for product presentations; conduct training sessions to demonstrate new products and services; and support the Sales team in organizing product presentations, training sessions, and demonstrations.• Evaluate customer application requirements and support the technical, technological, and functional aspects of proposals.• Assist the Application Engineering Leader in performing the required tests and preparing detailed schedules based on project specifications.• Support the Sales team with application analysis, servo-motor and drive sizing, product selection, and verification of proposed hardware and software configurations. **Background and Skills**• Degree or technical diploma in industrial automation, electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.• At least three years of relevant experience in application engineering, technical support, commissioning, or a comparable role in industrial automation.• Good knowledge of rotary and linear servo motors, drives, feedback devices, and linear actuators.• Practical experience with PLC and motion-control programming and configuration environments such as TIA Portal, Studio 5000, TwinCAT, and CODESYS.• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, including EtherCAT, PROFINET, and EtherNet/IP.• Experience in sizing brushless servo motors and selecting drive systems for industrial automation applications.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and customer-oriented approach to technical issues.• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and to collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams.• Good written and spoken English, including the ability to communicate clearly in technical contexts.• Availability to travel for customer support, commissioning, testing, and training activities.
