Job summary

Siemens Mobility Italy is seeking an Application Engineer – Motion Control to design, validate and commission advanced Motion Control software solutions, supporting commissioning and troubleshooting at customer sites across Italy.

You will collaborate with customers, partners and the sales organization to deliver high‑performing automation solutions, translate customer needs into architectures and parameter sets, and expand expertise in Metal Forming, Packaging, Handling and Converting

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Automation or Mechatronics.
Experience with Motion Control technologies and PLC programming.
Proficiency in ST and C; knowledge of C# is a plus.
Willingness to travel across Italy and occasionally abroad.
Fluency in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

Design, validate, and commission Motion Control software solutions.
Support commissioning and troubleshooting activities at customer sites.
Collaborate with customers, partners and the sales organization to deliver automation solutions.
Translate customer application needs into Motion Control architectures and parameter sets.
Expand expertise across Metal Forming, Packaging, Handling, and Converting industries.
Promote adoption of advanced automation concepts and digitalization technologies.
