Job summary

Miramis Group is seeking a Porter for the 2027 summer season at Hotel Torre di Cala Piccola in Porto Santo Stefano, reporting to the Housekeeping Manager. You will greet guests, assist with luggage and transfers, and support housekeeping and guest experience teams to keep public areas welcoming.

The role requires basic housekeeping knowledge, luggage handling experience, a category B driving licence, and basic English.

Qualifications

Position

We are looking for a Porter for 2027 summer season, at our property Hotel Torre di Cala Piccola, reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager.

Your Role and Mission at Miramis

As our Porter, you will play a key role during the liveliest moments of the day, looking after guests from their arrival to their departure. You will handle luggage, take the guests to their rooms and assist with transfers around the property, while supporting the Housekeeping and Guest Experience teams. You will pay particular attention to keeping public areas tidy and well cared for, working closely with your colleagues and promptly resolving minor operational needs. With your smile and professionalism, you will help make every Miramis experience unforgettable!

Requirements

Requirements for the role:

• Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures and guest service
• Experience in luggage handling, deliveries and moving materials
• Ability to use a switchboard, tablets or digital devices to manage requests
• Category B driving licence
• Basic English for essential communication with guests
• Experience with minor maintenance tasks
• Knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus

Other information

We like to call it “Total Reward,” because our compensation proposal is holistic and takes into account several aspects.

Contract and compensation:

• Seasonal contract for 2027, approximately from April to October. Start and end dates may vary depending on the property and operational needs;
• Gross annual salary starting from €21.104, to which variable elements are added where applicable: public holidays, Sundays, night shifts, overtime/additional work, and tips; salary varies according to the candidate’s experience and is assessed during the individual selection process;
• Contract in line with the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for Tourism – Confcommercio, with a 5 working days + 2 days off schedule.
• Meal vouchers (Ticket Restaurant) of €8 for each day of work;
• For relocating employees : shared accommodation at our Staff Residence or apartment;
• Shuttle service to work for relocating employees without a car;
• Discounts and partnerships for health and personal care, training, travel, and entertainment.
