Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, guidance or related field.
• Ability to obtain a Tier-1 background investigation.
• Understanding of military education systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling on education, career progression and transitions.
• Assess eligibility for education programs and recommend remediation when needed.
• Document goals, develop plans and monitor progress.
• Advise on military and civilian education pathways and benefits.
• Assist navigation of military education systems and enrollment in programs.
• Escalate help-desks or approvals to the Education Services officer.
• Provide information on FAFSA, scholarships and funding resources.
• Support special programs and military school admissions.
• Conduct end-of-course counseling and interpret GT results.
• Review transcripts, calculate credits and prepare memos.
