GE Vernova's Finance Internship Program offers hands-on experience within a dynamic finance team. This project-oriented assignment immerses you in GE Vernova's strategic initiatives and showcases the critical role finance plays in driving business objectives.

As an intern you will support planning, analysis and reporting of KPIs across functions, collaborate cross‑functionally, and participate in training sessions with senior leaders. Office-based, 40 hours/week, 6–12 months.

Competenze

• Eligible to work in Italy; Italian work permit required.
• Recent MSc/Master’s graduate in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Experience in a multinational environment valued.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Proficient in Excel and financial tools.

Mansioni

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

You will actively contribute to the main financial planning, analysis and reporting cycles of key business KPIs (income statement, balance sheet and operational metrics), with a strong focus on process improvement and continuous learning. You will be part of multiple initiatives to help you grow your personal and professional knowledge, such as technical training/knowledge sharing sessions and roundtables with senior leaders from the business.

According to the core scope of your role, you will work cross-functionally with finance, commercial operations, supply chain and engineering to ensure standard frameworks are in place and to drive accountability. We currently offer internship experiences in the below functional areas:

• Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
• Statutory & Tax
• Project/Operational Finance
• Controllership
• Global Supply Chain and Sourcing Finance

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Eligibility: Italian work permit is required
• Candidate Profile: ready to graduate or very recent graduate from an MSc or Master's degree
• Education: Major in Accounting or Finance is considered a plus
• Experience: Previous experience in a multinational environment is highly valued
• International experience: participation to exchange programs will be considered a plus
• Language Skills: Fluent in spoken and written English
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and other financial tools
• Work Flexibility: Primarily office-based

EMPLOYMENT DATES:

• Internship duration: minimum 6 months, potential extension up to 12 months (evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
• Full time work preferred: 40 hours/week, with some flexibility related to study/exam commitments
