Arkage is seeking a Mid Project Manager based in Rome to lead client projects with a focus on delivery, scope, timing, quality and profitability. You will coordinate across creative and technical teams to ensure proper planning and on-time execution.

You will manage day‑to‑day client relationships, lead operational meetings and support pitches, while aligning with the CX and finance teams on billing milestones and budgets. Italian and English fluency are required.

Arkage is looking for a Mid Project Manager, based in Rome, is that you?

What you do on a daily basis

• You will work within the Client Management team and report to the Head of Operations and to the Account Director, managing assigned clients and projects with a focus on effective delivery and long-term relationships.
• You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of agency projects, ensuring proper planning, task execution and delivery according to scope, timing, quality standards and agreed budgets.
• You will manage the day-to-day relationship with clients, preparing and leading operational meetings and status updates, working with minimal oversight. .
• You may be involved in pitch processes, especially in the private sector, managing the project team from brief to final presentation, and presenting the project management and delivery plan to the client.
• You will autonomously manage project budgets and cost plans, in agreement with the CX Manager, monitoring profitability and ensuring alignment with the administrative and finance teams on billing pipeline and milestones.
• Could be requested to manage photo/video production processes or event management process.
• You will manage relationships with external suppliers involved in the project (e.g. production companies, freelancers, technical partners), overseeing timings, costs and quality of deliverables.

Who You Are (Profile & Digital Mindset)

• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in digital agencies, creative environments, or corporate marketing departments, with a focus on project coordination, traffic management, or content production.
• Educational Background: A university degree or background in Marketing, Advertising, Communication or STEM.
• Proactive Problem Solver: Equipped with excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and a proven ability to solve technical and operational challenges in a dynamic environment.
• Multitasking & Flexibility: Capable of managing multiple priorities and parallel tasks within a collaborative, fast-paced setting without compromising quality.
• Creative & Growth Mindset: Possess creative thinking and a natural curiosity to constantly learn, adapt, and grow professionally.
• Team Player: A true lover of teamwork, capable of building positive professional relationships across diverse creative and technical teams.

Core Skills

• AI: AI first mindset, open to innovation, operational proficiency with main LLM platform and Agentic AI
• Languages: Fluent in both Italian and English, written and spoken (English B2 at least) .
• Productivity & Collaborative Suites: Solid experience and full operational proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Keynote.
• Timeline Management: Ability to work within structured workflows, manage feedback cycles, and utilize project management tools to update Gantt charts and ensure on-time delivery; Cost/Efficiency mindset
• Network of Interaction: Ability to interface and collaborate effectively with internal creative profiles (Designers, Copywriters, Editors, UX/UI specialists, Art Directors, Front-End Dev) as well as external corporate channels

• Compensation and professional category will be based on the candidate’s actual experience and will fall within the following ranges:
• €26,000–€32,000 gross annual salary (RAL) in the case of an employment contract
• €32,000–€43,000 gross annual compensation in the case of a freelance / VAT-registered contractor
• Working hours are 8 per day, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (with 30 min. flexibility), with 45-60 min. lunch break
