Job summary

STMicroelectronics seeks a highly motivated Metal Process Engineer to join the Power Front-End Technology R&D team. You will develop advanced metal processing technologies and material solutions for next‑generation products, applying your materials science and metallurgy knowledge in an innovative research setting.

The role focuses on process research, materials characterization, and cross‑functional collaboration with process, product, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant field (materials science, metallurgy, mechanical, chemical or physics).
Knowledge of metal processing technologies and materials characterization.
Experience with experimental design and data analysis is preferred.
Exposure to semiconductor, electronics or advanced manufacturing applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support development and optimization of metal processing technologies.
Conduct lab experiments and evaluate process performance.
Assist in DOE design and execution.
Analyze data and interpret results to improve processes.
