Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a Metal Process Engineer to advance metal processing technologies within Power Front-End Technology R&D in Italy. You will design experiments, perform DOE studies, analyze data, and relate processing to microstructure and properties in new materials.

Qualifications

• Must have master-level degree in a materials-related field.

Responsibilities

• Support development and optimization of metal processing technologies

As a Metal Process Engineer in STMicroelectronics' Power Front-End Technology R&D, you will help shape next-generation metal processing and materials solutions. You will work with senior researchers and cross-functional teams to develop, optimize, and transfer processes, driving innovation in advanced manufacturing. You’ll investigate processing–microstructure relationships and contribute to R&D projects focused on new materials. This role offers hands-on experimentation, analysis, and technical communication in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
