PE Global Recruitment is seeking an MEP Project Lead for a full-time, permanent role in Milan. This data centre construction specialist oversees a team of mechanical and electrical engineers and drives design improvements and cost efficiency across projects.

The role requires strong procurement knowledge, scheduling expertise, and proven leadership of MEP teams on data centre deliveries across Europe.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required.
• Experience effectively leading MEP teams on projects.
• Proven involvement delivering Data Centre MEP projects.

Mansioni

• Lead a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.
• Propose design changes to improve cost efficiency and schedule.
• Monitor construction quality, materials, and workmanship.
• Coordinate with contracts manager and site leads for information flow.

The Company:

This organisation is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in the sector. They are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects in 7 different European Countries, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
• Proposing suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction programme, and to enhance specification and quality completion
• Display commercial astuteness
• Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials
• Coordinate and liaise with contracts manager, site engineers and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information
• Check and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner
• Establish project resource requirements xysqume and lead and motivate the project team
• Oversee highest quality of health and safety

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant area
• Strong knowledge of procurement
• Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing
• Experience in effectively leading MEP teams is essential
• Experience in the delivery in Data Centre MEP projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
