Winthrop Engineering Limited is seeking an experienced MEP Lead to join our team in Milan, Italy. In this role, you will lead a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, ensuring high quality in project execution and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and have strong experience in leading MEP teams, especially in Data Center projects. Join us as we deliver high-quality construction solutions throughout Europe.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced MEP Lead to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Milan, Italy.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
• Proposing suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction programme, and to enhance specification and quality completion
• Display commercial astuteness
• Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials
• Coordinate and liaise with contracts manager, site engineers and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information
• Check and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner
• Establish project resource requirements and lead and motivate the project team
• Oversee highest quality of health and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or relevant area
• Strong knowledge of procurement
• Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing
• Experience in effectively leading MEP teams is essential
• Experience in the delivery in Data Center MEP projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
