Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Medical Affairs Manager to serve as the scientific expert in Italy, shaping local medical strategy and partnering with cross-functional teams. You will engage with HCPs, HCOs and KOLs to advance evidence-based medical engagement and launch activities for wound closure and biosurgery solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration, scientific integrity, and compliant medical communications across the BU, with travel within Italy as required.

Qualifications

• MD degree and Specialty degree (preferred in surgical area).
• 2–4 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, or related scientific role.
• Knowledge of clinical research, evidence generation, and medical compliance.
• Experience engaging with health professionals and key opinion leaders.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Implement BU medical strategy locally in Italy with cross-functional collaboration.
• Serve as medical and scientific information resource for HCPs, HCOs, and external stakeholders.
• Build and nurture relationships with HCPs and KOLs to address scientific needs.
• Develop strategic partnerships with scientific stakeholders and academic societies.
• Lead advisory boards and expert meetings as needed.
• Support local clinical research and educational projects and launch of new products.
• Ensure medical materials are accurate and compliant.
• Provide medical support for evidence generation projects.
