AirAdvisor is seeking a proactive PR Specialist to advance media outreach, tailor campaigns for European and UK markets, and strengthen our narrative in Italy. You will manage local press relations, translate materials, and coordinate responses with the global PR team.

The ideal candidate has solid PR or journalism experience, fluent English and Italian, and a strong ability to work remotely while delivering results in a fast-growing TravelTech and LegalTech context.

About the Role

As we expand our presence in local markets, we are seeking a vibrant, detail-oriented (Senior) PR Specialist to directly support our media outreach, campaign launches, story research, and localization efforts. You will help us tell our story, connect with local media, and highlight our work through tailored public relations for different audiences.

A closer overview of what you will do:

• Research and Create: Utilize access to multiple industry-related data and information sources to develop proactive communication ideas and bring them to life.
• Localize and Translate: Adapt and translate press releases and other communication materials for the Italian market, ensuring cultural relevance and accuracy.
• Media Landscape Mapping: Proactively identify and map the local media landscape, pinpointing relevant news outlets, key journalists, and emerging PR opportunities.
• Pitching & Follow-Up: Confidently pitch our campaigns and stories to secure compelling local press coverage, and expertly follow up with media contacts.
• Media Request Coordination: Support incoming media requests by coordinating timely, accurate responses with our central PR team.
• Competitors & Industry Monitoring: Continuously monitor competitors' coverage and industry trends, proposing fresh story angles specifically tailored to specific audiences.

Who You Are:

We are specifically seeking candidates who are ready to hit the ground running. We value motivation and initiative, but for this role, prior experience in public relations and content creation is a key consideration.

• MA or BA degree in Journalism or Public Relations.
• Demonstrated Previous PR Experience: This is crucial. You must possess prior experience in PR or journalism or proven hands-on experience in media relations, drafting press materials, or supporting PR campaigns. Please show us what you have already done!
• Fluent English and Italian: Your ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, is essential.
• Experience in Journalism or Public Relations: You understand the nuances and are eager to apply them.
• Organized, Curious, Proactive, and Independent: You are comfortable managing your tasks remotely, taking initiative, and always looking for new angles.
• Results-Oriented: You are driven to secure coverage and see the tangible impact of your work.
• Interest in Aviation, Travel, or Passenger Rights: A genuine curiosity about our industry will help you thrive.
