Mercury Engineering in Milano is seeking an experienced Materials Controller to lead the safe receipt, storage and dispatch of project materials and maintain accurate inventory records to support construction activities.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Logistics and Construction teams to ensure material availability, timely issue to site, and compliance with quality and safety standards. Minimum 3 years in warehouse operations required.

Competenze

Minimum 3 years' experience in warehouse operations within construction, engineering or industrial sectors.
Experience supervising warehouse activities or teams.
Strong understanding of inventory control and goods receipt processes.
Experience using inventory management or ERP systems.

Mansioni

Manage the day-to-day operation of the project warehouse, ensuring safe receipt, storage, handling and dispatch of materials.
Ensure warehouse operations support the project programme by maintaining material availability and timely issue of materials to site.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all stock movements are traceable.
Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries with project teams, suppliers and logistics providers.
Ensure goods receipts and supporting documentation are processed accurately and in accordance with procedures.
Carry out routine stock checks and investigate inventory discrepancies.
