Mercury is seeking a Mechanical Package Manager for Milan to lead multi-disciplinary mechanical scopes on major projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

You will coordinate subcontractors, QA/QC, safety, scheduling and commercial aspects, while ensuring design intent and compliance with project specifications, liaising with clients and suppliers.

The role requires strong leadership, engineering know-how and a proactive approach to risks and opportunities on site.

Competenze

• 5+ years’ experience working with a recognised contractor.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in use of systems software related to engineering functions.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Familiar with CAD/BIM processes and Primavera planning software.

Mansioni

• Coordinate mechanical work packages, onboarding subcontractors, and QA/QC.
• Oversee site safety and subcontractor files with Mercury EHS lead.
• Manage project schedule with planners and engineers to meet client needs.
• Administer commercial aspects: labour, materials, plant, variations, valuations.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure design to installation alignment.
• Prepare weekly progress, risk, and report to Project Manager.
• Support close-out of deliverables such as final accounts, manuals, and handover.
