Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE) in Italy seeks talented Engineers for the Engineering Branch across embedded systems, ocean engineering, sonar and marine sensors. These positions may be assigned to a Project Development Section, supporting planning, execution and delivery.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years post-related experience or Master’s with at least 2 years post-related experience.
• Experience in design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance of engineering or maritime systems.
• Preparation of technical documentation, including specifications, procedures, test reports, proposals or engineering reports.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting laboratory, field or at-sea operations.

Mansioni

• Lead or support the engineering lifecycle of systems, equipment, prototypes and limited-production solutions for lab, land, shipboard and marine use.
• Translate needs into requirements, specs, interface documents, test plans and acceptance procedures.
• Design, develop, integrate, test and validate embedded systems, sensors, data acquisition and marine equipment.
• Support lifecycle, procurement, evaluation and maintenance activities including documentation and supplier interfaces.
• Plan and report trials, readiness, deployment and troubleshooting across lab and at-sea environments.
